About Us
ASJ Solutions (ASJ) is a SBA 8(a) participant, Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned (EDWOBS/WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), and Minority-Owned Small Business founded by Arizone Hollins Brown, James Jackson, and John Steele (former Lockheed Martin peers).

Founded in 2014, ASJ Solutions, formally ASJ IT Services, LLC, is a consulting company that serves Federal/State and Local governments, and commercial efforts. By forging partnerships and mentor-protégé relationships with larger corporations, we have been very successful with fast-tracking our internal processes and certifications, allowing us to reach our goal of SBA 8(a) status, one year ahead of schedule, in 2017.
ASJ Solutions brings a tried and proven team of experienced professionals with talents and resources focused on proven management processes. While employed at Lockheed Martin, the three founding officers were responsible for leading a 300+ FTE IT services effort for a DOD Combatant Command resulting in an outstanding contract rating being the only DOD command to achieve such status.

James Jackson
VP of Operations

James Jackson is a results-driven senior IT professional with over 30 years of combined military and civilian experience within the Department of Defense.
As Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ASJ Solutions, James is ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the Company’s long and short-term plans with a view to creating long term stakeholder value.
He is a recognized project and program leader with the ability to coordinate and direct all phases of project-based efforts while managing, motivating, and guiding teams in both a corporate setting and directing a broad range of customer IT initiatives. He excels at providing comprehensive design, systems analysis, and full lifecycle project management, with hands-on experience leading all stages of system integration and development efforts, including requirements definition, design, architecture, testing, and support.
Arizone Brown

Arizone Hollins Brown is an energetic, results-oriented leader with over 30 years of combined military and civilian experience within the Department of Defense.

As CEO of ASJ Solutions, Arizone is responsible for leading and overseeing a broad range of professional services in Information Technology, Program/Project Management, Business Development, Network Support, Portal Engineering, Audio/Visual and Video Teleconference Support, and Infrastructure Protection.
She leads the ASJ Solutions C-level executive team with provided hands-on leadership across many domains and varying disciplines, to include; Program Management, Operations Management, Project Management, Customer Relations, Financial Services, Business Development, Aircraft Maintenance/Logistics, Quality Assurance/Control, Command and Control, Personnel and Contracting/Acquisition, Safety-Compliance, and Entrepreneurship.
John Steele
VP of Plans

John Steele is a solutions-oriented technologist with notable success directing a broad range of Corporate Information Technology and Information Systems initiatives while participating in planning, coaching and implementation of information solutions in direct support of customer objectives.

As Vice President of Plans for ASJ Solutions, John is responsible for strategic business planning research, vendor and customer relations, communication and liaison between technical teams and upper leadership, proposal writing and review, and capture management.
​
He has hands-on experience leading all stages of system development efforts. With thirteen plus (13+) years of DOD/Homeland Security experience and outstanding leadership abilities, John is able to coordinate and direct all phases of project-based efforts while managing, motivating, and leading project teams while utilizing ITSM.
